Lauren Fairhurst started her career in real estate in 2005.
After nearly a decade in commercial real estate, across multiple cities in Canada, Lauren Fairhurst decided to take a breather to pursue her creative passions. She enrolled at Toronto’s OCAD University, where she earned a certificate in Digital Media Skills.
After a stint at St. Joseph Communications with FASHION Magazine, Lauren joined Entrinsic Partners Inc. where she focused on community management.
In 2012, she launched Butter Social Media. Butter Social Media specialized in real estate & architecture and worked with national real estate brokerages, individual realtors, developers and magazines.
In 2015, Lauren returned to real estate operations and continued running Butter Social Media at the same time. This allowed her to pursue her creative and analytic passions.
Her varied roles have allowed her to work in all aspects of the real estate business from drafting leases to representing landlords & tenants in leasing deals to managing residential, office, industrial, retail and vacant land. Her most recent experience includes managing retail properties throughout British Columbia during her tenure at SmartCentres REIT.

An insatiable curiosity for all things new and cool have exposed Lauren to people and places she never dreamed possible. In her downtime she can be found hanging with her ‘dog-ter’, family and friends, or perusing the Internet for the latest fashion and trends. The rest of the time, she’s either cooking, reading, or indulging in health and wellness practices.
